Put the second new China crap fuel pump on my 1956 Mercury.  I put the last China crap fuel pump on two weeks ago and attempted to go to town.  The car ran fine for about 10 miles and just quit.  Didn't take long to figure out the China crap pump was not pumping.  Lets hope this pump is better.  Came from RockAuto and under warranty sent me another pump and paid all the shipping.
Both of us having new parts that are defective. Its frustrating for sure.

What does it do?
MAGA

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

In the US we call that a chopper. A chopper (or forage harvester) take crops like grass, alfalfa, corn, or triticale and chops it into roughly 1"x 1" pieces and blows into a wagon or truck that take the chopped material (silage) to the farm where it is stored, fermented and then fed to livestock.

Oh, silage. I remember farmers using it in the 60s and early 70’s and then the small cattle farms died and the large feed lots took over and they fed a different ground feed. I remember a few fires in silos from overheating during fermentation.

It’s those bottom end used machines, this was the 3rd one , we got another 2  to do. Local custom guys are pleased to see them gone rather than some farm kid buy one for $30 or $40K and set up in competition to established guys !

Does that container ship just like that or do you have to hire blockers to secure the machine?

After that pic was taken , it was strapped in and a bunch of loose parts was stacked all the way out to the door, that’s when you find out maybe we should have stacked the container slightly different when you started out .... like anything the more you do it the easier it gets. Timeframe has gone from 2 days when my guy did his first one , this one was done in a bit over 10 hours.

Today we opened up and welded solid a viscous fan clutch on a Kodiak truck.  And because we felt unsafe the bucket of Damacles was finally grounded after nearly a decade raised up.  Now we start stripping the remains of the old Cat 951 into scrap and welding stock.

That's funny. They are owned by the Chinese company Techtronic Industries and the tools are made in China.

Took a few pictures while on errands. Flowers are one of my favorite subjects.
