Well, I'd like to give you my two cents worth....but he's already halfway there!

He wants to make sure to have some kind of zinc, copper, steel corrosion. Many of the late zinc-copper pennies I see are a green and white mess.

I thought about grounding as well but that wasn’t the reason given with the picture.
