New Mustang passed me
« on: January 19, 2022, 12:32:09 PM »
Was cruising down the interstate and saw a car coming up on me so I moved left and it came by.  Little SUV or crossover.  Looked at the back end and saw GT on the rear and the taillights and figured out it was a new 4 door Mustang EV.  Didn't really pay attention to the front end but from the side and back, nor a bad looking car though certainly not distinctive from other similar vehicles in appearance.  Better looking in person then on TV

Haven't noticed any others on the road, so really hadn't thought about them.

Sorry they call it a Mustang, but they likely spent a bunch on research and found the Mustang name would sell while only pissing off the Mustang loyalists :))

Sure hope GM doesn't come out with a 4 door Corvette :91:

Also passed a new 4 door Bronco Soft top, electric blue with black top and fender flares, not bad looking at all.

It is also way cheaper for you to replace a battery. :))

A Mustang isn't supposed to have 4 doors, not even 3.   :021:   2Doors only.

So that is what I saw the other morning! I thought I was seeing things. A mustang badge  on a SUV
MAGA

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

Havent seen the new Fords yet,  but GM did build a one off  Corvette about 1966, with 4 doors.   They  got the proportions right,  heck in Europe they sell 4-door Ferraris I have heard.  Never thought I would see a 4 dr. Porsch either.

Can a Mustang be considered a Pony car if it has 4 doors?

Reminds me.... I really wish they would have redone the charger correctly and did two versions.

I came across this story of a flatbed tow truck causing $28,000 damage to a Mach E by not hooking up to the car correctly. :o
