Depends, on the machine, how about some of the old carbs. Got the tool when working for Kodak, needed the reach it has. And offers a secure way for removal and replacement. The closed end removes e-ring, the open end install.
It is a tuff piece hardened steel and the keepers are spring steel. Definitely a tool that sits most of the time...... worth millions in the right circumstances. Talking e-clips the size of a pencil eraser and smaller.
