Some Dotco goodness...
« on: November 18, 2018, 01:06:25 PM »
I use die grinders daily and good ones are worth paying extra for....and then there are Dotco die grinders. They are powerful, relatively quiet and and holy snapping dickiebirds are they expensive. So when I found three NOS Dotcos at the dirt market I shelled out more than I usually would but it was still a heck of a deal at $60CDN ($44USD) each.

He had a half dozen...I should have bought them all.

Hmmmm, HF or Dotco die grinders. Yep, every single one would have come home with me and the extras would be sold the next day.

HF and Princess Auto die grinders come home with me as well....I'll spend the money on a good burr and put it in a shitty dedicated die grinder rather than have it rolling around in the tool box or lost on the bench.

I have a few more of these Dotco's and they are in another league altogether....don't know if they are worth $400-500USD each but I didn't have to pay that.

Sometimes I'm just not that bright...I never seem to think of resale.  :))

That will be for others to do.  I use tools daily, but most days not for long.  Heck, if I used them any more, I would never get muy post count up :D

Notice the plain throttle levers with NO safety interlock.
Elroy has (2) inline Dotco's and must agree ....................they are nice die grinders
