This impacts everyone, so everyone should be allowed to express their opinion. This is for an all or nothing thing too guys, Either I keep building it as I have been or I restore it to what it was. I am not open to 25 tweaks that each guy wants to see that is just too much to field, so I either start rebuilding/restoring it back as it was, or I keep rebuilding as I have been, either or, those are the options I will consider.
No clue what I will do if it ends up a tie vote.

UB, build the site as you see fit, we will adapt easy enough. I just wish my phone would not update itself :-[

I think the new site is progressing fine. I would like to see the option to view all pages of a thread at once added though.

i am fine with most everything. the only comment i have is that mechanics tool and general tool sections seem somewhat redundant. i think hey could be combined.
if anything, i think there was a few too many sections at the old place.

The difference was intended to be mechanic hand tools is strictly that. The general section was all inclusive of any hand tools, plus machines. quite broad was the intention. If it is not being understood or received that way then the two probably should be married up.

The way I see it we are all just here to play in your sand box, do with it what you please and people will adopt. I just hope to be able to play in the sand box on tapatalk eventually.

I see it differently. Many members spend a lot more time here than I do and actually contribute a lot more quality content than I do. My point being I/WE Rusty and I want a place that the members want that looks the way the majority of the members would like it to like etc. A poll like this is done because it provides me the direction and the path most members would choose if they were building the site themselves!
I am sure many site admins build sites as they want them with the thought the members will adapt. In as much as possible I will accommodate what folks want, or at least what the majority tells me through their vote they want. If most folks want it to look exactly like it used to then I would start over and put it back exactly as it was.
Anyway, I am just trying to build the site the majority of the membership wants.

While I think the old format worked great and I like it, it all comes down to how much time you have to rebuilding the site UB. I will go with the flow on this.

Is there any way image posting can include upload from URL?
I have been having issues with my hosting site, and I'd prefer to have the pictures hosted directly on the forum. Issue is I post from many different computers, and the images aren't saved locally on any of them (I take them with my phone, upload to the hosting site, reference as [IMG] from there). I'd like to be to pasted the image link from my hosting site in the attachment uploader, and have it attach and reference locally on the forum. vBulletin it set up like that as shown in the image.

Can't you just paste the URL in the text box like I do from my host? I do have to choose BB code for forums.

There is an IMG icon in the toolbar within the preview section -- will that help?

Pasting the direct image link URL is how I post now. I like doing it that way, but there's no image backup if the host goes down or tries to extort money like PB.
The hosting site (Imgur) is currently giving me fits. I couldn't direct reference link yesterday, and can't get on this morning. I'm fearing the worst.
