I think that year's Galaxie is definitely underrated.

Plus it's my birth year!   ;)

That looks so much like a customers car I lusted over in 1972.  The car was brought in for service pretty regular at the Ford dealership.  Was a special order 1969 LTD 2 dr,  midnite blue, with black vinyl top.  Black interior, high back bucket seats,  the console was almost full length,  automatic on the floor, about option available back then.   Best part was the 429,  with dual pipes, seemed to have a nice cackle for a grandpas car.  Moved right out too.  Wish I knew what happened to it.
