A small haul of small items all for $8.
I went there with the goal of checking at least 1 ratchet off my list for the 1/4dr collection and I did.
A proto 4749 - $1
An interesting 4749 knockoff ( seperate post) - $2
Victorinox super tinker - $1
Peterson 5wR - $4.

Pickings were slim ( mostly new crap, electronics cloths cheap wallets ..ect ) and I almost missed the guys booth, but I'm glad I didn't.
He was the typical Snapon = gold, prices based on Ebay kind of guy.
But he basically had the only tools aside from the large bulk style Harbor freight wannabe building, so I circled back and I'm glad I did.
He had an S-K 1/4 set I asked about, tells me he's letting it go cheap because the universal is missing then proceeds to quote me $130 for it :-\

The Proto alone was worth the $8 -- everything else is gravy. Congrats!

I'm definitely glad to have checked it off the list.
I'm also glad the day wasn't a complete waste, I sure as hell wasn't going to pay $100 for 1 used Snapon ratchet. I think it was the predecessor to the FR80, looked the same but definitely wasn't 80 tooth.

Well the Victorinox super tinker is practically good as new now, maybe even better than new because I'm not sure they ever offered the super tinker with these scales.

It's magically delicious! :lol_hitting:

I quite like the look of the translucent scales, but they do seem to show wear very easily.

Great snags. All usable and desirable.
