Title: Tune-up Kit?
Post by: stokester on February 25, 2024, 04:42:45 PM
Another item from a garage clean-out.

I've seen these tools before.  They don't seem to be of any quality but I'm not sure of the kit.

Was it a general purpose tune-up kit?

Looks like a $1.00 bargain bin ignition wrench set to me.

Yup, that was my thought as well.

Must have been popular among the flea-market crowd as I have seen a few of them.

Yup, typical low priced tune up kit that you could get at W.T. Grant or at Western Auto for a few dollars. That said, the kits worked pretty well in installing, tuning, and measuring basic distributor clearances.
