Cast iron welding

Went up to see the old welding wiz today, this guy is 82 and he`s been welding since he was 20.
He even has the rods made to his own spec.
A real master in the true sense of the word.

Looks like he's welding copper -- doing it with a torch is top notch.

That's a glowing cylinder head and he`s welding between the valves.

That's a dying trade. not many folks do that kinda work anymore.
