Nice warm Sunday and that calls for a cigar. Southern Draw Manzanita in Robusto. Very flavorful medium to full body. Flavor of a slight caramel and hint of sweet vanilla. The cedar-like bouquet is very pleasing.

Good cigar! First time I’ve tried this offering from SD.

Thought I ran out of these CLE Corojo wrapper cigars. They are fantastic; especially this one. I think it’s been in the back of the humidor for almost five years. Smooth, medium body, and slightly sweet nutty flavor.
They are great out of the box, but aging does make a difference -

Southern Draw “Firethorn” in size Toro. I’ve had this cigar before, but can’t remember whether I liked it or not. It a bit harsh, but then again it’s very fresh. I get lots of pepper and baking spice, but it’s not very smooth.

I have some others that I’ll rest in the humidor for a few months and then revisit the cigar.

Right now it’s not very gratifying.
