Not sure if it was on purpose or just something that "slipped through the cracks" but if we are giving away our hard earned r&d it certainly is disconcerting.

Interesting article.  Apparently, they couldn't get investors in the US to come on board and a Chinese company did.  They ran with it and surprise, they didn't play by our rules.  Their license was or is going to be revoked but that means nothing to a Chinese company.

Apparently, a US company is trying to get going but we are behind on R&D and will need to catch up. 

As far as the US having foreign policy blunders, that is not new

No doubt not the first time we got taken and certainly won't be the last.
Some of the things I've seen copied in forgings and castings even included the flaws. They are amazing at copying, not so much for r&d .
