Nice. The BMW in my name refers to a '78 R100/7 I used to own. My brother has a 1200gs I think, newer than I like but he loves it.

The bike on the far right is a '78 R100S, newest is the yellow '94 K75S.

All are BMWs except for the '82 Yamaha XJ650RJ Seca.  Beside the enjoyment of riding them, BMW has great parts availability through the OEM, something not available for the Japanese makes.

I remember when the BMW introduced the new 750 opposed twin - I wanna say back in the mid 70's. I didn't know BMW was a diverse as they were, so it kinda threw me. Lots of great reviews, about the only downside was it wasn't as quick as the rice burners of the time.

But even my dad spoke well of it, and he was not a fan of foreign stuff.
