Title: Is Virginia totally lost forever?
Post by: DeadNutz on July 05, 2020, 11:59:52 AM
This is unbelievable what happened in VA. A contractor made a large US flag out of tarps and hung it on a building under construction with the permission of the general contractor. Then state officials contacted the GC and told them that the flag must be removed because it might attract protestors who might destroy it. So the state officials caved to the possibility of lawless rioters attempting to destroy a flag?

Never fear -- it's government overreaction(s) such as this that motivate the voting public into action (at the ballot box). The Democrat party in VA totally underestimated the black voting block. They want to make everything a race issue, with the hope of reaping the rewards in November. That may work in Richmond (which is a liberal bastion), but not in rural areas. Many black voters are coming off the Democrat plantation and are looking at what is happening in Virginia and across the country with a new, more enlightened perspective.

A better question may be can we expect a legal election? and if we do get a Republican majority. Are the Rinos gonna have the backbone to stand up and put a stop to some of this nonsense?

Latest I read is the Never Trumpers are dumping huge sums of money into campaigns so as to defeat enough RINO's that - even if Trump wins re-election - the Dems will have both houses and kick him out.

They want a dang war - and they're going to get one. But they won't get the things they're thinking they'll get!

The contractor should have told the owner to pound sand. Until they turn the building over and get their last check the contractor is in control of the job site. It would have been very easy to say "I cant get a hold of anyone and it will have to wait until Monday".

To many people/companies not willing to take a stand and now you see where we are.

Elections have consequences.

Too bad for all the conservatives in the state that get overruled by the east end DC establishment voters.
