Post protest/riot lunacy
« on: June 05, 2020, 10:04:39 AM »
I'm just astounded at the stories I'm seeing about cities wanting to defund the police. City officials in Minneapolis want to wipe out the police force as it exists now and replace some of them with social workers. Yes, that is just what you want to see arrive when you call 911. The mayor of Los Angeles has stated he will cut LAPD funding by 100 to 150 million dollars. People should have paid closer attention when a friend of ours was trying to get him out of office but she had a hard time getting enough support.

It will be interesting to see if any of this actually happens. If it does then gun sales will be even higher than they are now.

Chaos seems to be what these cities want. I say -  give them what they wish for! Well-to-do and middle class people are leaving NYC in droves for points down south and in the south-west. They see the writing on the wall.

NYC has gone through this before. The city turned into a dump in the 1970's and 80's, and it wasn't until average people and the business community decided that drastic change was needed and brought in a hard-liner named Rudy Giuliani as mayor to clean the place up.

Yes they are.

Glad I don’t live in one of those shit holes.

I have to agree. I do feel sorry for the good decent people living in those cities but electing Progressive Liberals does have consequences.

This is all part of the left wing agenda that's been being implemented for years.  It's why we have to fight back, and that starts with voting.

If the media was merely objective, and not a tool of the Democrats, Democrats would lose most elections.

Was watching the news this moring. Special report on unemployment numbers. It was going to be at least 20% and it must be at least 15 or 30 because 20 just couldn't be right. They were dumbfounded and didn't know that to say.

Yes, but failed candidate Stacey Abrams is still politicking for the job.  He's going to pick a black woman and solidify the black and female vote.

Unfortunately I live in NY State near Buffalo.  I couldn't handle NYC.  Our votes in Western , NY just don't matter as we are out voted by NYC. We had a police incident  here the other day. An old guy protesting came up to police a little too close and the cop gave him a shove and he fell on his back. Cops are on unpaid leave. My personal feeling is this guy did this on purpose to set the cop up. Now it's on national TV and it makes the cops look bad.

I saw that guy get pushed and he was ignoring lawful orders. 57 members of the emergency response unit resigned following the suspension without pay of their 2 team mates. It must be tough right now being a police officer knowing your leadership in the city is looking for any excuse to react swiftly showing how "woke" they are.

I expect we will see more of these officers bailing out. cant say I blame them either. Now you not only have to worry about getting killed on the job, but every action you take could bring you up on criminal charges.

It will be interesting to see what these progressive communities come up with for alternative police forces. :lol_hitting:

All this talk of "defund the police" is just taking advantage of the crisis. The looters want free reign, the Dem mayors and governors want to have an excuse to get a federal bailout, and the Dem congress wants the violence to continue to November to oust Trump.

I think police funding should be on a case-by-case local issue. Police are funded by local taxes, therefore local populations should vote on increasing, decreasing, or eliminating them. Some of the sheriffs and police chiefs around the country have shown amazing wisdom, while others have displayed total incompetence. Every jurisdiction is different, their needs are quite varied, and so locals should vote on what they want.

Personally I think our local PD should get the  :106:  Start over, put new rules in place, and get trained people in there who want to serve the community, not control it. The way it is now I wouldn't trust the police to protect a dog house.

Now a federal district judge has ruled that the Denver PD cannot use less than lethal force against protesters. No use of teargas, flashbangs, pepper balls or rubber bullets. That leaves the DPD with only lethal force to protect themselves. Brilliant I say.

Sounds like its time for the Denver PD to get the blue flu. everyone call in sick.

I've been saying all along that the war on police that Obama started back in the Ferguson fiasco was not going to end well. I think we are starting to see that now. Do we really expect to have a person put their life on the line daily and not give them the support they need. Taking the LTL away just means they cant defend themselves when things go bad. Other than to shoot the bastard :lol_hitting:

Word from law enforcement here is that they received info that busloads of agitators from out of state are coming today to protest at our capital just up the road a few miles. If they show up they will quickly learn that the sheriffs there haven't been neutered like other cities. I'm sure our dept. will show up to help.

COVID-19 was all a lie. The politicians told us to observe social distancing and they enforced it with an iron hand. It was politically convenient to use this pandemic as a way to hurt the President.

Fast forward two weeks and nowhere is a Democrat to be found who advocates for social distancing anymore. Demonstrations and group-based resistance is the new normal. Again - this is politically convenient for the political class.

This is much reminiscent of the German National Socialist movement of the 1930s. The scape goats were Jews and other minorities back then - today it’s the white evangelicals, police/military, and the conservative movement.

Yeah! I’m “woke”!

Now the Mlps mayor is begging for a Federal bailout of all the damage caused by the riots. He stood by and did nothing, and ordered his cops to evacuate and let things burn. Then expects the fed to pay for his total incompetence.

I say all the jurisdictions that allowed this crap to get out of control should be left to their own devices. Lets see if the voters re-elect them. (tsk, tsk, of course they will, because it'll all be blamed on Trump and his greedy spirit not helping poor people).  :P

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if this guy is really dead.  I've been reading about it and the whole story seems fishy.  You're telling me a cop stood there with his knee on this guy's neck for over eight minutes and nobody went over to the cop to confront him about it?  How about the video being perfectly filmed, when does that happen in real life?  Why have we not heard anything about who took the video?  Doesn't it seem odd the cop and Floyd worked security for the same establishment and likely knew each other?  How about the funeral being a closed casket, wouldn't you want an open casket?  Wouldn't that be more powerful?  Wasn't the Coronavirus scare dying off?  Wasn't this whole thing convenient to usher Trump into another crisis?

So the Dems got the whole world to shutdown  just to hurt Trump? Doesn't seem likely to me.   I do agree that social distancing got thrown to the wayside when Floyd got killed.

Not exactly. The globalist agenda is one-world government. Anything or anybody that impedes that is a threat, so must be eliminated by whatever means necessary. And Trump winning in 2016 was a big blow to their plans. So they're doing everything they can to get rid of him or neuter him. Discredit, shame, lie, stonewall, distract, shout-down, disrupt, destroy, murder whatever.
He never does anything good - everything Trump does is "bad". Come on, even a broke clock is right twice a day! Nope - the media and politicians cannot admit for a second that Trump was right. On anything. Geez they can't even say anything nice about his wife and kids. Almost daily complaining about her choice of shoes or the others handbag. That right there shows you the biased, prejudiced, warped sense of reality that they have.
Funny thing is they can't help it. You can always count on them to regurgitate whatever the talking point of the week is, even when their own point it out that they're incorrect.  :D

If the Democrats / Globalists / New World Order / Media are organized enough to come up with all these secret schemes, then why did they pick Hillery and Sleepy Joe as their candidates?  Obama, sure, I could see a loose bunch of swamp creatures picking him to be their guy to further their interests.  Since then, if they are as conniving and organized as some of you think, then wouldn't they have picked better candidates?  Hillery is not likeable, and Biden is not competent.

There are no conspiracies here.  People and groups are trying to take advantage of Black Swan events, but who wouldn't?  Nothing new here, both the right and the left have been doing this for years.  Politics.

Hillary is a devil in sheep's clothing. I'll bet when she goes to bed at night she pulls her face off to reveal the gargoyle she is underneath. No wonder Bill sleeps in his own room!  :D Yet lots of people liked her. That she's not "likeable" (i.e. personable) doesn't matter to the ruling elite. So long as you're powerful and fully on-board with the globalist agenda you're in. And Hillary certainly was that. Besides, tons of people HATE Trump (i.e. the majority of the popular vote) - and he got elected anyway.

Biden being incompetent is a plus for the globalists. They'll make sure he chooses a globalist VP like Kamala or Warren, and 3-6 months in he'll resign and they'll step right into the Pres chair. Biden is not the best candidate they had, Sanders was. But they all knew Sanders was too radical - vocally - to win against Trump, and they didn't want to take the chance of defeat with a full-on socialist. Better to sideline Sanders like they did in 2016 and hope Grandpa Biden slips in like a trojan horse.

And look at all the RINO Swamp creatures coming out saying they vote for Biden. Mitt Romney, George W. Bush, Condolezza Rice (more are sure to follow). They'll all vote Dem rather than vote for their OWN party. Shows the depth of the conspiracy right there. Makes me sick that I voted for Bush twice because I believed his lies. I sat out the Romney vote cause I knew that secret swamp thing was bad. And I've been proven right.

George, I don't think Biden would resign, he'd just be a puppet for a shadow government.

Rust Farmer, trying to equate what the Dems have been cooking up to the Republicans is a fool's errand.

Over Biden , any day. The Dems are making it easy to vote Trump or not at all. Going to be a real challenge to convince middle class Americans that the party of rioting and violence is an option.
