Does anyone collect fixed socket wrenches?
« on: December 06, 2019, 10:36:06 AM »
Years ago when I found a fixed socket wrench I saved it in a drawer.  These are all Walden wrenches, 59 different ones and I have no idea how many different ones they made.  In addition I have another 100 plus of different makers such as Blackhawk, Ray, Mossberg, Ford etc.
And, I have a lot of duplicates, so if anyone is interested send me a PM.

Very nice collection. The "T" handle versions used to be very popular in Euro car shops, and IIRC many of the high end Euro brand factory service technician kits included a variety of these wrenches. That said, I haven't seen that many of them in the US for quite a while.

That's quite the collection. I have a few old snap ons that I found at an estate sale. Couldn't leave them behind but it didn't infect me to go collecting them... yet. ;D

Started a collection of these some years back.  Speed handle, t-handle, l-handle and some with integral u joints.  Most are Walden-Worcester,  one early Snapon and a few others.  Figured they would  be disapearing from the scene someday.

I don't come across these out in the wild very often anymore.  And, when I do they seem to want too much for them, or if on e-bay the shipping ruins the deal.
