Thats a cool ride for sure.

All things considered that price does seem pretty reasonable.

It's a terrific price -- wonder what's wrong with it? That Continental was truly a "line in the sand" because it was on par with anything that the Europeans could put on the table; regardless of cost. IIRC Ford lost thousands of dollars on each Continental that they sold, but Henry Ford II wanted to prove that he could outdo the Europeans. That character trait would again show up in 1964 when he first took on the Europeans at Le Mans with the Ford GT40 cars.

Henry Ford II was a very innovative and also complex individual.
