Title: For Jabber, 1961 Starliners
Post by: Lookin4_67GalaxieConv on October 14, 2023, 08:26:21 PM
This month was the last local car show in the town I live near until April.  Surprisingly, there were two 1961 Ford Starliners.  And a real nice '66 Olds and '65 Mercury.

Yeah, the first one was really nice.  I don't know what the deal with the second one was, especially that shelf on the trunk.  Never saw that before.

I have only once seen a Starliner in person.I could not afford the asking price, but never forgot how beautiful that car was. You can bet if I had ever been fortunate enough to have one it would still be with me!

What always got me about those star liners, was the fact they used the roof from the 1960 model.  The roof on the other model was the as the 62-63 and 64s.

Forget gas prices! We need to make big cars with big engines great again.
