This is becoming a REAL expensive eff up. But as a bud light faithful, I'm doing my part and not buying any just to help it along. I did buy some mich ultra and yuengling flight instead. Not a Coors guy and don't really like miller lite.
-
Don't buy Michelob -- It's an AB brand. We've been buying Yuengling for almost two decades, and I feel it's a much better beer than traditional Bud, or Bud Light.
-
Good. Thats what its going to take to get rid of the woke crap in corporate America. I'm waiting for the stock holders to start demanding people get canned. The twit Ad girls are easy pickings but when the CEOs start feeling the axe, then things will change.
-
AB has lost major money since this happened. Hope it keeps up.
-
They need to realize that while folks can be "different", don't shove it down our throats and tell us its normalm and expect all to embrace it.
-
+1 on the yuengling. too bad it is so hard to get in my part of the world. my stocks are low. maybe 2 or 3 bottles.
new glarus from wisconson is a top contender as well, spotted cow, two women, totally naked and others are brewed by them. good stuff, just hard to get, only sold in wisconsin.
one can never go wrong with shiner or any of the other spoetzal brews!
used to sell barley to ab back in the day. never liked their beer then, like it less now.
-
Just glad we have Yuengling here now! I also substitute with a little PBR too! LOL
-
Also, say no to Coors, same reason, just a few years ago.
-
I have made the switch to yuengling light............Good bye busch light

Yup, same here Herb. Just yesterday my wife filled up the garage fridge with BPR and Yuengling. No more AB/InBev products in this house.

I bought some of this Modelo. I like it but then found out the inbev bunch owns Modelo too. so I guess it is flight for me.

I didn't know Bud Light was regarded as real beer :67:

Hmm been drinking Yuengling for about the same length of time..... Maybe not legally... :))
Coors Original, Miller High life & PBR are about the only other "traditional" or "main stream" beers I can stand

Same as McDonalds sells the most hamburgers. Don't have to be the best or most tasty to be a large seller.

I think McDs is on its way out, 40% bankrup, the clown has fallen.

I now only drink Yuengling, or Shiner Bock. I enjoy both, but lean more towards Shiner. Yuengling is now found most everywhere in abundance. Shiner, not so much. Six packs yes, 12 packs no. But I have found a few places I can count on so that's where I buy Shiner. Yuengling is my fallback favorite.
-
i agree on your choices but disagree on availability. i can get shiner almost anywhere. the pottsville stuff is a 6 hour + drive.
-
Great, then we are in agreement since neither of us can do anything about availability! :))

BTW: That's what you get for living in BFE in the great white north! :))

Widely available (Shiner Bock) but only in 6 packs. I was buying 12 packs at Walmart due to proximity to my home, but about a month ago I quit finding 12 packs there with only 6 packs available. After 2-4 12 packs of Yuengling I started going to a well stocked liquor store for SB and now just buy it there.
FWIW: Yuengling is a couple of bucks or so higher than SB at the liquor store while SB is close to the Wal-Mart price.
-
I feel bad for you guys sometimes.... Just today I went to the Pottsville brewery and got a growler filled with their limited bourbon barrel reserve.

I wasn't dissing Yuengling, it stands tall next to Shiner Bock. It's just to my taste, I lean a little more towards Shiner is all. Yuengling is right beside it and I do alternate between those brands from time to time. I am sold on the brand. Honestly I prefer having two brands I favored so that I can change things up from time to time. Just like a cigar smokers or pipe smoker liking variety.
