There are no markings on the ratchet other than an owner mark, maker and part number are on the face plate that is why I blocked it out

There are some tells that look suspiciously Snap-on.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

I find that Urrea is based and manufactures in Mexico.  https://www.urrea.com/grupoUrrea

They must be producing quality products to be selected by Snap-On to make them.

Lol!

I just looked at my boss' pile of backup ratchets and Truper has a dead ringer copy with Taiwan coo.   Surtek had one as well.

We never use them since the Facom ratchets grew in range.

I suspect there is no connection between companies beyond using a -similar- design.

I was thinking it looked a little like a Proto but not quite. This is a 3/8 proto 5249 I bought in a set and I like due to it being the thinnest head 3/8 ratchet I have. It is a hair under 1/2" thick but due to the angle and close up the scale makes it look wider.

Urrea copied Snap on but the Urrea gear, pawl and face plate are bigger and will not interchange
