Title: What can you tell me about this old (Craftsman) soul?
Post by: Der Bugmeister on October 29, 2020, 09:23:15 PM
I was moving a pile of mixed wrenches the other night and noticed this old Craftsman.  What vintage would it be?  Anything special or interesting to be learned about it?

It's a Craftsman tappet wrench -- mid-1930s to 40s

The C extending under the word Craftsman usually means it is an earlier tool. Looked like a thin tappet adjustment wrench too.  I use one occassionally when a stud is double nutted.

Cool stuff, thanks for the info!  There's something almost zen about having an older tool like this hanging around.
