Anvil and Blacksmith Sale Milwaukee WI December 7th

Open house, and blacksmith tool sale Saturday December 7th 8AM-2PM. Located on the Northside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Please email for address and directions.

Cash, all major credit cards, and paypal accepted. No checks. All sales are final, as is.
Fixed prices, this is not an auction. One day only.

Whether you’re looking to get started in the craft of blacksmithing, or a well seasoned smith, we have something for all. There will be tons of tools for sale, as well as a blacksmithing demonstration throughout the day. We have a forklift to load heavier items.

Honeck engraving will also be there, selling custom hand stamps to use on metal, leather, and wood.

-Anvils; over 100 to choose from. The majority range in weight from 250 pounds and larger (up to 900 pounds). We also have a grouping of more collectible 15-40 pound sized anvils. We have very few in the 100 pound range currently. English, American, French, and German styles. Double horns, and other specialty anvil styles available. Peter Wright, Mousehole, Wilkinson, Attwood, Trenton, Arm & Hammer, Hay Budden, S&S, Refflinghaus, Peddinghaus, S&H brands, to name a few.
Prices START at $2.50 a pound, with a few bargains for less. Also have a grouping of anvils that could use some fixing up/TLC - rock bottom prices on those.

-Power hammers; Little Giant, Kerrihard, Star, Bradley, KA75 and others. Some running, some as “project” machines.

-Flypresses; Norton, Sweeney & Blocksidge and others. Various styles and sizes.

-Post vises; varying sizes and brands. $75 and up.

-Swage Blocks; A few of different sizes and styles

-Stakes; for sheet metal work. $50 and up.

-Tongs; lots to choose from. ranging in size, type and use. Most tongs $15-20 ea.

-Hammers; Ball peins, cross peins, sledges, and some specialty sheet metal and masonry hammers. $5-25 ea.

-Top tools; hundreds to look through. flatters, set hammer, swages, fullers, punches, drifts etc. $10-30 ea.

-Handles; hammer, sledges, axe, adze and file handles $2-5 ea.

-Hardies; hundreds to choose from. hot cuts, swages, fullers, bending forks, cones etc. $10-45 ea.

-blowers; hand cranked, electric, as well as belt driven. Champion, buffalo, and Cannedy otto brands with and without stands. $100-250 ea.

-Forges; cast iron rivet forges, bigger railway forges etc $200-400 ea.

-Fire pots; Various brands and sizes. $150-250.

-fireplace shovel blanks; pre formed for the blacksmith to make their own handles on $5 ea.

-Hammer heads; TONS to choose from. Many varieties of older forged masonry hammers, good to modify into sheet metal and forging hammers. Many other specialty heads. $2 and up.

-Rivet headers; varying sizes. $15 ea.

-Chisels and tool steel; many cold chisels and breaker bits available for use as good tool steel and chisel/fuller blanks. $1-5 ea.

-power hammer dies; some specialty power hammer dies available. Different sizes. $50 and up.

-Industrial steel bins; for storage and organizing tools and heavy items. $10-15 ea.

-machining tools; Surface grinders, and a small milling machine or two.

Mmm send me that big power hammer.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

I asked the seller if this was advertised elsewhere online and he replied with the following:

Hi there,
There is nothing else posted besides the craigslist ad.

The address is:
3869 N. Palmer St.
Milwaukee, WI 53212

It’s a corner building, my section of the building is on Abert Place. I am the third garage door from the corner.
Street parking only. Dress warm, shop is unheated. No bathroom. 
We have a forklift to load heavier items.
Open Saturday December 7th, 8am-2pm. One day only.

Who's going.....and who has room to haul something to Arizona? Or store it for awhile.  ;)
