I drug home a Jorgensen wood vise ....AND...yet another claw hammer
oldnslo:
At a local sr community garage sale, I stumbled upon a few finds, and these are pic-worthy. Who could say no to a Proto claw hammer marked $4, but the one next to it was $2, so I suggest I might want a choice of either for $2 and he agreed.
The wood vise will replace my (still yet to be mounted) Wilton version.
DeadNutz:
Taking advantage of the seniors I see. :))
You have to wonder how many seniors have moved into senior communities and brought stuff that they will never use again. My neighbor helped a senior friend clean out their house for a move to Sun City in AZ. I bought a nice 5' shipping/receiving or stock rack from the guy which holds my firewood in the garage and with the 6 casters is easy to move around. The guy gave my friend a Jeep CJ5 for all his help.
skfarmer:
a proto claw hammer? ya gotta wonder sometimes why a company known for mechanics tools offers a claw hammer.
probably not a nupla. my guess would be plumb as the oem.
Rusty:
I'm going back to bed. Read the title and had a mental image of a vise that the end loader wouldn't raise enough to get it loaded and him having to back down the road literally drag scraping with the rear heisted up a bit from the weight.
:25: Obviously not enough sleep last night.
jabberwoki:
Nice vice, i `ve been telling myself i need one of those fro a while now.
Whats a good brand to look out for?
