Saturday estate auction lot No. 1
« on: November 18, 2018, 02:42:58 PM »
There was too much stuff for a single ring, and although I got there at 10:00 AM I stayed until they got to the tools at 1:30 PM.  I will show only three lots, but only this one today---haven't had time to go through the others.  This lot contained 79 USA wrenches, 40 Craftsman (mostly =v=), 17 Proto, 7 Armstrong, 3 Husky, 1 Snap-on, 11 old USA, and 6 China.  First picture what the pile looked like, 2nd picture from the top Craftsman tappet type and then Proto open and flare, and 3rd picture from the top Armstrong DBE and then Craftsman =v= DBE missing one.  Plus the rest of the pile and all are in good condition except 8. Yes I stole it, $25.00.

Didn't make sense to me, about 25 other guys there but bidding low.  Wait till I show the other two deals, sockets and drive tools.

Wow that is a haul. Exceptional grab - well done!
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

Great buy.  Price doesn't surprise me at all.  Couldn't tell if there were sets or not so nobody bid much.  Separate out thye sets and the money would have been much higher
