did not need these but when I see US made Craftsman at an Ace store, the last on the hooks...
I do the same, but not with the screwdrivers anymore.
The handle sizing just doesn't work that well for me and I made the switch to Pratt read and Stanley 100 plus earlier this year.

These were actually a trade and not a purchase.
Recently my uncle gave me a couple of old double bit axe heads, one of them being a 1955 Rixford Michigan pattern.
They're a desirable axe but the eye had a dent in it that I do not have the skill to repair so I traded it to a good home with someone who could.

In trade I got this village blacksmith set.

Close your eyes, Muddy! Don't look at the Matco man.

Just one look and your wallet will turn to stone! :))

I need to get me one of those pin pucks for vintage airgun work.

That pocket caddy sure does seem nice, I've thought about getting one for work but I'm always getting soggy and dirty and I'm afraid it would probably not be the best choice.

A few days ago bought a Snapon party box off Ebay to replace the Mac mac1 that my 1/4 general purpose kit has kind of outgrown , and I just ordered a 10pc SAE 6pt Wright socket set and 11pc 6pt metric Wright socket set.

When assembling my kit around the MC1 box I had to make some sacrifices to get the most useful assortment of sockets in it, but while i still love the box It eventually proved not to be quite big enough for the type of ultimate 1/4 kit I had in mind.

I decided the heart of the new kit will be as complete of a Wright tool 1/4 set as I can get while still allowing room for the other small tools, if theres room I'll add the deeps.
I've already got two contour grip ratchets flex and standard,  the contour grip flex handle, and the 6" extension.
With these sockets on the way all I'll need is the short extension,  universal,  maybe the deeps if theres room, and the spinner handle.

Once I get the box I'll figure everything out.

Got the metrics today  to my surprise they came on a rail.
I won't be using it because it's too bulky for my application but it Is nice.
Somehow I didn't catch that, but I'm pretty sure the SAE's won't come with one.

Ordered the rest of what I need to complete my WRIGHT 1/4 set.
9pc metric deeps
9pc SAE deeps
universal joint
2" long extension.
Spinner handle ( I hope it has the female drive in the handle as pictured, it doesn't seem that the latest production does and this may just be a dated stock photo )

I noticed for some reason they offer the metric sockets on a rail but not the SAE's  :smiley_confused1:
I don't exactly need the rails because they're too bulky for my uses but I find it curious.

I probably could've saved a bit by buying a complete sae or metric set and adding the other sockets, but I didn't know I would want an entire set when I bought the first ratchet over a year ago.

Wright offers 2 different 1/4 spinners.

2442 = female drive in handle
2441 = no female drive
