Whole lot of shaking going on

At 6:33pm we had a 5.0 earthquake hit with the epicenter about 7-8 miles north of us just south of Carson City. I had just taken the dog outside and was standing in front of the garage when I heard the garage door making noise like it was closing and then a good jolt. The house and shop were creaking and it continued just for a few seconds so I had no idea it was a close one. No damage in the house or shop as it didn't last long. Best one we've felt in a couple of years.

Now they have downgraded it to a 4.5 quake.

You get used to it.  The small shakers here cause tbe volcano to vent.  An oft venting volcano means a postponed eruption.

Keep shaking it mother earth.

At 4:03 this morning a 6.5 shaker about 120 miles away woke us up. It just kept going and going as at this distance the wave just keeps rolling through.

Yeah, better put a mask on the front door of the house and paint the driveway with sanitizer so you stay safe!

I'm sure any jackrabbit or coyote deaths will be listed as Covid-19 caused.
