Just got back from Phx - and what a time I had at the pawn shop on Friday! As an added bonus one of the guys was dumping plastic buckets of loose tools in as I was looking. So I got first dibs on those. Then he said, "I have a whole tool box over there that's gonna get dumped. Do you want to dig thru it first?" I said. "Cool!"

My tool grab will be posted in another thread.

While I was there I asked if I could take pictures of their tool bins. He said sure! So here are some I took of the 18x18x18 metal bins and surrounding area.

So do they dump the good with the cheap into the same bins?

Also, how do they price the stuff.  I am figuring it is unmarked.  So much a piece or do they give you a price when you take it to the counter?

Yep, everything just gets dumped in the bins. You gotta dig for those diamonds!

And I usually just take my pile to the counter and they give me a price. Works great.
