I have a ‘99 Taurus and it has a leak in the coolant bypass hose at one of the T’s. Where can I find a suitable T to splice this hose. This picture shows the hose and I’ve circled the T that I need to replace.

NAPA may have that whole hose assembly.

The Oreilly parts store near me has a heater hose T assortment behind the counter. I would think napa would have the same assortment unless they want to sell you the complete assembly.

I'n not sure the conventional T assortment will work for this. The normal T goes inside of the hose and is clamped on the outside. The type of T on this hose goes on the outside of the hose and is glued or crimped together.

I'd cut the tee out, measure the ID of the hose and find a suitable outside-clamped replacement.

Basically that’s what I did except I cut the hose behind the block farther from the T and replaced everything from that point. If I had just cut as close to the T as possible, there wouldn’t have been enough hose to reach the new T.

I've found with this type of hose configuration it is usually best to purchase the assembly for reliability.
