Hard to find one that is original and hasn't been beat up. No date code on this, but would probably date 60s.
To refurbish a wood handle, rub down with 0000 steel wool to get the burrs out, put on good coat of olive oil, let it sit for awhile and then remove the excess with a cloth. this helps to rejuvenate the color and leaves a non oily finish with no stick.
