Snap-On makes a nice tool. Their selection is fantastic, their finish is second to none, and they keep rebuild kits for every ratchet they've ever made! Gotta love that! You've got an Old Snappy ratchet - they got the parts for it. And I've had a handful of Snap-On's over the years. It's just that they were never "that" much better to justify the cost in my mind.
(For example, the pocket core remover pictured lists for $18.50. When I can get pocket tools like this for free, maybe I'd spend $3-4 for a "nice" one. The 15mm combo lists for $50.50. Heck, my NOS Bonney's cost half that. And the new style TPMS torque driver (this is an older like 2012 model) goes for $289!!! Nice tools, but like I say, just can't justify that cost even if I could afford it).
But I snag any I find on my pawn shop hunts. Figured I'd pull together all of the S-O's I have and take a family pic. I had more than I thought! Since I'm just a normal Jo mechanic I'm thinking it's the same with alot of folks.
So post up your orphan Snap-On pieces!
Here's a schrader core remover, tire pressure sensor torque driver, ignition pliers, a ratcheting DOE, combo 15mm, angle wrench, and a pair of sockets (one is some sort of specialty socket).
