Bought a stand for the grinder, it's a beast 80lbs, JET. They really make some good stuff. Fast shipping, ordered it Sunday.
Looks nice.
The HFA stand I bought last year is pretty much worthless.
The tube is thin walled and I just couldn't get the base tight,  all it did was crush the tube.

A little tip to prevent crushing the tube.  You can see a bolt that locks the tube, also notice there is a jam nut.

The trick is to run the bolt in so the tube is locked in place, not slipping. Then run the nut in bottoming out against the flange.

Maybe get some longer bolt add a jam nut to the mix?

You can make HF work, just needs some re-engineering sometimes.

I have a few ideas of how I could fix it, but I have to get the tube opened back up first.

Maybe replace it, without knowing the size, for example, if 3" you can buy exhaust pipe (napa).

There should be plenty types of material for that, plus I'm guessing the grinder is not that heavy, 1/2, 3/4 hp ?

An old 50's Craftsman block body, actually only a 1/4hp.

Finally ordered  these Malco pliers.  Got to say fit, finish, and feel are just right.  Definitely not going to use them around welding.  Nice, but be awhile before  I splurge on a set.

The eagle grips are beautifully made, in my opinion well worth the price.

Did yours come in a box ?
Mine just came with a hang tag.

Picked up a 1/4 fuel cordless ratchet, since my non-fuel (brushed, and not as stout head) striped it's gears. Also grab a BOGO free on these EzRed lights.

I don't really know why I've been wanting these and I already took the spring out, but I wanted them so I picked a pair up.

My latest buy was Tekton:
Hex Key Wrench Set, 26-Piece (3/64-3/8 in., 1.27-10 mm)

Not that I needed them but simply for the way they store, tossed 2 complete sets 3/64-3/8 in. & 1.27-10 mm in the shit can.

Those plastic holders for the allens are the best improvement in allen keys.  Make finding the right one easy.

Heck, I could always find the right one, getting them in and out was the problem. Rotating them flat was the next big one to close the drawer.

Better late than never LOL

If eklind or bondhus offer a set in a holder like that I'll probably get them.

I suggested to Tekton they should sell those hex key holders separately. After all, they sell their other storage stuff separately.  No plans to do that at this time.
