Impressive what can be gotten in something that could be considered reliable enough for the street and almost affordable for the average enthusiast (I know the AM is not). The V12 produces about 83HP/cyl about the same as antiChrysler gets in the Challenger with the 707 HP at 88HP per (which kind of is).

The Bugatti Veyron from 2005 was a breakthrough with 1000 HP (I think up to 1200 in the later ones) but that was four turbos and about a dozen radiators and oil coolers and it cost close to a million a copy if memory serves.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

HP per liter is the real measure of engine performance. It's easy to up HP per cylinder by increasing the size of the cylinders.

So the AM is producing almost 154 HP per liter naturally aspirated whilst the fiat only makes 116 per liter with forced induction which is lame. The 2.7 ecoboost makes 120 :D
