Thanks for all the welcomes!!  Much appreciated!

In time I'm going to bring back the International Harvester tool thread.  I've also got a new project going on that I would like to start a thread for.  And, I look forward to posting elsewhere, giving some advice and contributing where I can.

Hi Scott, remember me the guy from Hawaii with the Land Cruiser? It’s great to hear from you again. How’s the 4x4? Scouts are the most badass offroads anywhere.

Of course I remember you Cruiser!!  How you been?

There are 3 Scouts keeping me company right now.  Plus the wife and I are building a '60 IH pickup hot rod right now.  Its currently disassembled but we hope to have it on the road in about a year.

Damn that's sweet. Can't wait to see the pickup fully restored.  Doesn't get any better than that.

Two years ago when I was still working, I got a chance to see the Dakota oil fields via the train from Minneapolis.  First time for me on a real train. Anyway, I got to see the part of the country where you and SK live. And I have to say, it's mighty fine where you guys live. This is where real Americans live and feed the rest of us.  If I had the money for a second residence, I'd feel right at home living in God's country as your neighbor.

Cruiser, you would be more than welcome out here in the midwest.

As far as the IH pickup, its going to a shop next week to get some chassis work done.  The front will get a new crossmember, aftermarket Mustang II suspension, power rack and pinion and disk brakes.  The rear will get a Ford 9" with disc brakes and coilovers.  Its also getting a couple new crossmembers in the rear to allow a gas tank between the framerails, mounted under the rear of the box.  We have a built-up 327 Chevy for it that will get electronic fuel injection.  There is also an electronically controlled 4L60E transmission waiting to be installed.  I have fixed the cab floor, worked out some dents and dings and have done some other body work.  The paint will be left alone.  We will keep the patina.  The interior is getting a dashboard from a newer IH Loadstar truck to facilitate a custom gauge cluster and a radio, modern heat and A/C etc....  Anyhow, I plan to start a build thread to chronicle the story.
