Title: Loxocket "Supreme" socket wrench series 1934-35
Post by: snapmom on January 29, 2024, 10:52:38 AM
This set dates 34-35 and only shows in the 1935 supplementary catalog "KS",  The tools have a ring locking mechanism.  The ratchet shown is a 34  L-71  1/2drive.  I have never seen a full set. One of the rare sets.

Very interesting -- thanks for posting that cool set. I'm wondering if that ring lock mechanism was designed for a specific industrial application. It seems a bit too bulky and complicated (and probably more expensive) for simple automotive repair work.

Thats probably why it was made for one year or so, it doesn't interchange with any other tools. its hard to use, its takes way more time just to change sockets.

Now that is damn cool.
Thanks for sharing this very odd unique piece of history that I've never seen before.
