Grabbed this ol beauty for free. Struggling to keep it though as is big bulky and bloody heavy.
Thinking it`s a 57 50th year anniversary model?
Works like a charm.

That is one beautiful saw. Classic design, and with care, will last well into the next century. Pretty much everything that Emerson made for Sears was top quality.
-
Very nice, Jabber.

Got the same saw, about 3 years back. Used it a bunch working on the house, real happy with it. The blade adjustments are solid as can be, see you have the original sears motor, bet it is smooth.
-
I have the same saw. It was left in our basement by the previous owners (I cant blame them, it only weighs about 14,137 lbs). I absolutely love it, I have never used such a true cutting table saw.
-
That’s a sweet saw for sure. Back when quality mattered
-
My father in law has that style saw he uses. Though not in that good of shape.

Had one of them myself. Yes they are heavy, Sold it to K5 when we upgraded
Sears must have sold a lot of them because I see them often
-
What do you guys reckon for value. I m prolly gunna sell it
-
table saws don't normally bring much at auctions.
If you get $100 for it I would say you are lucky. More likely $50
Interested in what others think as my experience is limited to auctions, never really sold any in the store
-
I'd put it up for $150-200 and see what happens if there's no hurry to sell. Someone who appreciates it will buy it. I'd happily pay $100 for it.
-
Boy with the quality of this beauty you'd think i`d be worth more.
Shits n giggles i`ll put it up for 350 see what flies.

You will end up in the CL dreamers' thread :))

Someone on Channel 3 is trying to sell what looks to be the same table saw for $425.
-

Sad, but very true. Unless you are selling Delta Unisaw $150-200 at the very most. Incredible I know, but true. If it was a radial arm saw unless it was a big heavy Delta commercial job it would be even worse, $100 or less, more likely $50-75!
I know this a sounds insane, but it is absolutely true, even the ones with cast iron wings instead of stamped steel!

Don't you mean Dewalt on the RAS?

Doh, how very Homer Simpson of me! Yes, I absolutely did mean Dewalt.
-
Well i let it go for $200...still think it`s worth more but it`s been on c/l for ages and only one bite at 200 so away it goes.
If i had the room i`d keep it but it dont.
-
I know you disagree but I think you hit a home run

That's a deal I think buyer and seller can be satisfied with.
