Gearwrench Microdriver bit and ratchet set --
« on: April 18, 2019, 11:35:32 AM »
Bonneyman had posted a Toolguyd review of a mini-screw driver set for JAFE, and going over to the site Toolgud site, I noticed that Stuart (aka Stuey) recently did a re-review of one of my favorite tools -- the Gearwrench Microdriver. I have that set -- in fact I won it when Stuey held a contest on his site some years ago, and I must say that it is one of the most handy little tools you can have in your toolbox.

Couple this little microdriver set with a cheap $10 HF security bit set, and you have a versatile kit for any small repair.

For $13.00 on Amazon, it's a bargain and I've used it for countless hard to reach tasks on cars and appliances.

I found a HUSKY version of the ratchet solo at a pawn shop some years ago, and grabbed it for $8. It has been a handy tool. Drive ends say "Reverse Gear" on them. Apparently that's the manufacturer of the gear drive?

GF you are correct, a little set like that is very handy.  I picked one up from a buddy that ran a Cornwell truck a few years ago.
