multiple tool buys
« on: April 24, 2019, 10:56:11 PM »
Been stopping by the Habitat restore lately.,  found some kitchen cabinets,  which has caused me to stop again and again.   First off was a Milwaukee Sawzall, in great condition.  Plugged it in,  gear box is very smooth.  $20 sounded good to me....then spotted a small battery charger ten  amp and 55 amp boost,  the thing is heavy, and for ten bucks, of course.  Found a perfect handle screwdriver for a buck.  then at a resale shop, a first series Black n Decker Workmate in unused condition.  can't post pics now, camera won't interface with the PC.   Have not seen bargains lke this in a long time..

Nice finds. There is a Restore store about an hour north of me but I have never been there.

Never seen one around, I'd go if there was.

You can't beat the workmate for sure.

Hick, there is one in Chico, if you are ever out that way.

Except for the ratchet, here is stuff I picked up at restores around me in the last week.

Snap-on, Proto, Plomb sockets, Cornwell and Snap-on extensions and a Snap-on woody that I need to retip. $7 for all that.

I don't think I have ever seen a Snap on woody.  Digging that.

Work Mates, never thought a thing about one until I got an old one at a sale.  First time I used it I was hooked.
