Have another bench grinder did you know, the wheel nut has a torque spec.

20 ft lbs ... < (correction)

an 8'' wire wheel, with a 1" face is a big hunk of spinning wire. :-\

Pep,

As I told you in our last phone conversation, I have about 6 bench grinders, a couple Craftsman block style, 3 of the 8” Milwaukees (no longer made) and a 8” and 10” Jet, I haven’t used any of them, since I bought the 2” x 48” belt grinder. I do own one of the grinding wheel dressing tools, I haven’t seen it in 6-8 years, but I do have one, unused as I believe.

Dang Jack,

You just might need a store front, not storage ...... "Grinders R Us" ? But that somehow sounds too gay  :D

Jet lands today, clear the runway...

Ta Pep, now I knows.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Ta Pep, now I knows.

It is quite a bit smaller than the one you're pictured with ...

I have a diamond wheel dresser that cuts the wheel faster than you would believe . But , I have to free hand it. It takes a bit of practice.

A shaft collar on the dresser shank will work as a depth stop on the back of the tool rest. Best to use a split one not set screw. Easier to adjust and doesn't mar up the shank.
