odd looking locking pliers from tsc
« on: January 06, 2019, 07:32:42 PM »
i picked up these odd looking locking pliers on clearance at tsc last week. the may come in handy and  i think i paid just over 10 bucks for the all. i don't expect much out of them but they just may come in handy some time for odd shapes and or locations. they actually don't look or feel much if any worse than current production vice grip. unfortunately that isn't saying much.

Those are certainly odd looking. TSC carries some weird looking tools and I bought a pair of right angle long jaw locking pliers there myself when they were on clearance.

i can definitely see uses for them. the needle nose ones actually have a nice wide jaw. less likely to twist i would think

the parrot nose ones i am not so sure. they may have been a waste but sometimes the oddball thing save the bacon.

Those are interesting and look like if you need them you really need them. I need to check out my local TSC.

I think they are actually meant for grabbing studs

Yeah, you are most likely right, I deal with pipe a whole lot more then studs so my mind thinks that way.

But what the heck, pipe, studs,,,,,,,,,,they are both round :))
