I'm putting a 243 rifle together. Savage short action with a CBI 243 match grade varmint barrel. I will be needing a set of go/no go gauges. Cheapest Set I've seen is a bit over $50. Damned expensive for a one time use tool.
Anyone have a set they want to sell or rent to me for a few weeks? 243 or 308 will work.
I picked up a cheapo 308 that the PO said he couldn't get dialed in. I plan on pulling it apart this winter but am going to do some tuning on it first. I want to find out if the 308 barrel is junk first. I haven't found one of these yet that wont shoot right.
