Montecristo White Series in Robusto. Perfect relaxed cigar enjoyment

Very nice choice! Do you choose what to smoke or is it a blindfold and pick random choice like me?

I choose mostly based on body and flavor. In the late afternoon or after dinner I prefer a more full bodied stick (mostly Cuban and Nicaraguan), while in the mornings I prefer the milder (mostly Dominican and Ecuadorian) sticks with a cup of coffee.

The front porch is nice and warm. Perfect for a Villiger La Meridiana in size Churchill.

Very good cigar!

Been holding off smoking this one for a bit, Padron 1926 Serie. Padron is a TOP name in cigars. And this cigar shows it!

That being said, do I believe it's worth the $$$? Yes and no. If I smoked cigars everyday I wouldn't buy a box of these. To me this is more of a celebratory cigar. Birthday, anniversary, wedding etc. That's when I think this would be worth the $$$. I've had once just as good for much less.

This was a gift from Ray so I especially enjoyed this one!

Glad you enjoyed it Tim, and I agree about the Padron cigar. There are many other quality cigars that are just as good (if not better) for much less money. That Villiger La Meridiana above is one such example.

I don't know much about smokes but I know a bit about beer. Like most things it is subjective. That said muddy, I really enjoyed both of those beers. The sleepy eye is a little hard to get (at least until next fall) but I will be getting more of that drekkers. It is brewed about 50 miles north of me.

I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. Are the snacks gone yet?

Both beers where excellent, smooth easy drinking beers! The snack lasted maybe a few days :))

Christmas Eve - a nice Don Diego Robusto before evening services.

It’s 55 degrees and rainy, but I’ll take it. Warm enough to enjoy a coffee and cigar on the deck.

Merry Christmas!

Good budget cigar while fixing Christmas dinner on the grill. It’s cold, but the patio heater is working overtime.

Good budget cigar - Spirit of Cuba Corojo - in Torpedo size.

I like these very much; and not just because the price is right. They are a good mild/ medium body sweet hay aroma smoke.

Tried something new. Cuban Juan Lopez in a size Rothschild.

Rather disappointed in that it was totally plugged. Needed six stabs with the Perfect Draw tool to make it even smokeable. Taste is Ok, but nothing spectacular. Mild/medium body, but I’d rather smoke a good Nicaraguan blend over this thing.

That’s for sure; especially since it came highly recommended. Just goes to show that  a cigar’s taste and aroma are a very subjective experience. I much preferred the cheap Spirit of Cuba mixed filler stick from a few days ago, over this premium Havana.
