sorry to hear. we don't have house cats any more but really liked the last one we had. now out house cats are about 70 pounds each and eat dog food!

Hello ... I hope you will find a new smokey, that was a great  and fitting name.

I always got a smile seeing him on a leash .... If the fleas were not so bad here I'd do the same.

Sorry to hear you lost your cat Smokey O:-).  I realize I'm a bit late, but I haven't checked this thread in a loooong time.

Best cure for a lost pet is to get a brand new one as soon as possible. 
When my wife leaves me, my dog dies, and they repossess my home, I'll still have my tools.
