Back in 1992 I was actually looking to buy that bike. It was (and still is a great handling ride), but I eventually bought a new 1993 Kawasaki ZX-11. Still have that bike, and will eventually rebuild it.

Wasn't that the later development of the GS 1000 (Suzuki's answer to the Kawasaki KZ1000)? I remember when those things first came out geez they were like wheeled lightning!

Ah yes, the perimeter frame. A beast in a slinky dress. In England, they like to take the fairings off, polish the aluminum frames and call it a street fighter.

Nice , i had a 1986 GPZ100RX back in OZ the precursor to your bike, i loved it.

Definitely a Go-Fast machine ! As was the Honda of the same type. I was Service Manager at Stubbs Cycles in Houston back then and saw many of them in the store, on the track, AND in the shop for repair!
