Work is fantastic. Averaging 85hrs a week the last 2 months.

I thought 60 hour weeks were killers.....  :o :o :o

I cannot imagine 85 hour weeks. I did some 80 hour weeks as a HS kid working for minimum wage at the hdw store in the 1970's. I cannot even imagine that at 56 YO.
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!

25yrs ago we would regulary do 7,12s working petrochem shut downs. 8 or 10 weeks straight then unemployed till the next shutdown came along. You didn't have time for much, work, eat, sleep.

The best part of working shut downs is you dont have time to spend all of the money your making  :D

I know lots of guys that fallow shut downs for 2-3 months then take 2-4 months off.
