Moving sale surprise
« on: April 13, 2019, 03:14:02 PM »
On my way to town I passed a moving sale sign and as I was early went back.  1/2" drive husky ratchet and a set of husky deep sockets like new.  Also a collins axe-USA with new handle, 2 three pounds sledges, one stanley, Proto ball peen hammer and a husky hammer.  They set the price, I didn't argue. $12.00  Last picture my 20 month old 90 pound German Shepard who has to stick his nose into everything.

Note: bottom picture was supposed to be first, it didn't print for some reason.

Not a bad score for the money.
That Dayton pattern Collins axe is an 80's Mann edge produced axe that is of course hung upside down.
Itshould at least be better than the later Mexican made stuff, not as good as the older stuff actually made by Collins or the first of the Mann produced stuff after the '66 buyout but a decent user.

Nice score on the tools. Great looking dog.

Gator-2 is my 5th German Shepard and the most loving.  My wife has had dobermans and the dobermans always picked her while all the Shepards picked me.  Gator-2 is a good cow herder and has yet to be kicked.
