A very capable and beautiful young woman died trying to break her own land speed record in a jet-powered car.

I learned alot from that woman (both mechanical and otherwise *cough*) watching her on tv.

Sad to hear about that very talented lady. That is 2 people that modified F-104 has killed. It might be time to retire it.

That's sad news from sure.
I never found myself staring at her or anything, but she was definitely a talented fabricator and a welcomed addition to mythbusters during her time on the show.
And iirc she was on my dad's favorite show overhsulin' with chip foose.
