So how many times have you wanted a quick sure fire way to return a ceramic knife sharpener back to white and return that long lost tooth. With normal use these rods load up, turn black and don't cut as well. Elroy has a quick solution.
It's Elroy's favorite: bar keepers friend. Sprinkle some keepers on a scotchbrite pad hit it with just enough water to make a paste and watch a clean white rod appear in short order. This procedure yields a clean rod with a fresh tooth that performs much better with an open tooth. Try it .....
You'll be pleased. Unless you like a dirty rod that just dulls the knife
