Title: New revolver
Post by: jabberwoki on December 11, 2019, 08:52:17 PM: I thought I`ve been good lately so I grabbed this Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 454 casull and got a sweet holster from those blokes in Alaska.
I heard they`ve stopped making these so I nabbed a new one whilst I could.

I have an older Redhawk 7-1/2 inch 44 Mag. and it kicks like a mule. I can only imagine what that thing is like.

At least the grip looks beefy enough, those original .454s with the bisley grips were brutal to shoot.

I have always wanted one of these big bore handguns with a 6"-8" barrel. It's the $1.50-$2.50 per round that has kept me away.

Reality is you done shoot much so it`s not that bad plus reloading helps, but this bigguns sure are fun.

Rotator cuff? I had both shoulders replaced last year and am just about done with rehab on the left one. I have no desire to go through that again.
