Vintage SnapOn master " Midget" set- 1975?
Location: wellington ohio
Price: $350
Model number 167-TM-B , page 039 1975 Catalog
Bought from original owner , says he purchased in 1975, it may be an earlier year set,
doesn't exactly match catalog photo.
KRA282 ? box , originally had 67 pieces , I count 62 , 63 with box
Here is what I think is missing
1- black handle driver
1-D drive socket
2- extensions
1 - screw driver bit
Two of the hex holders are missing allen drivers
Other wise it's in great condition.
He says he believes all parts are the ones that came in the set , no replacements.
He told me he got a job working on trucks and heavy equipment and rarely used it.
Photo is from 1975 catalog, I can't find a contents list. See reply pot for photo
Price is $350 plus shipping-- FAIR offer considered SOLD
I will consider offers on pieces and decide if I will break this up.
I think the last offering on this from SnapOn was 2004? at $1200?
USPMO or PayPal , buyer handles fees

Thanks

Thanks for posting this. I dug through my "not quite ready for the vintage toolbox" stash and discovered that long 1/4" drive flex shaft (with a thumb nut) that I have is a twin to what you posted, tho mine is marked Blue Point. I never did know the maker until I cleaned it up a bit. I still have not used it either, but it does have a nice pointer on the end cap for indexing whatever you are twisting on. :)

That is probably marked Blue Point also. It was primarily used for carb adjust, it has two bits with a captive housing so they don't slip off the screws. It's handy for other tight spots.
-
I bought one of those long carb tools new about 10 years ago. They are handy for carb adjustment as well as points adjustment too. I do not recall if mine says Snap-On or Blue-Point.

I would love to have just the empty box!

I would too.
If I could afford this is probably jump on it, but truthfully I don't really need anything as pricy as SNAP-ON for my needs.

If the box is worth $40, the tools are $5 each , less then Craftsman
