Took a load of scrap metal to the scrapper and whilst unloading spotted this sweet old cabinet.
Told the guy I`d trade my load for it and he said yes.
Yanked it up in the trailer and it twas fuggen heavy. Opened it up and there was a 1/4 ton of crap in there so I chucked all of it out except for the real steel us made mattock head and a surface rusty Martin spanner.
The reason I was frothing at the mouth for the cabinet was because I had 2 at home that look to be made by the same company.
Aluminum with unique brass hinges and handles even the same olive green paint underneath a few layers.
Thinking maybe Navy? due to the light aluminum construction?
